Bright And Early

 

A scrap page I did several years ago. This was one of my favorite kits and it was the year that one of my grandsons dressed as a pirate for Halloween, but the boy in the photo was a stock photo from a free site.

 Good Morning,

 How are you doing today? Good I hope. It is early for me. I woke up around 3 this morning and just stayed up. 

 The smoke alarm has been going off again and it upsets Foxy. She will bark warning me that it is going off, but I hear it. I just don't get up as fast as she wants me to and she continues to bark, as if she can chase the sound away.

 By the time I sit up, uncover, undo my sleep apnea mask and get across the room to get the broom and shut it off she has barked loudly at least 7-8 times. Then I am usually awake which she patiently waits for me to come back to bed. Sometimes I can go back to sleep, but other times like this morning, I am awake. UGH!

 So my neighbor is going off the rails. I had an incident with them yesterday that left me pretty shaken up. 

  So there is this elderly man and I am assuming that he is the father of the woman that is there. I have heard her call him Dad before so maybe or maybe they are related in some other way. I really have no idea.

 I have said before that there is a crying toddler but I only see him sporadically these days. I think that might be a good thing.

 Yesterday morning around this time he was at it again, screaming at the girl. I didn't hear it. Jonathan said when he took Foxy out he was screaming at her.

 I woke up around 9 and took my coffee outside and he was yelling. I tried to tune him out. He was screaming over and over at the top of his lungs, "I Love You, I am Lion, Hear Me Roar" "Amen, Amen, Amen".

 I turned around and picked up my coffee cup and I see her looking at me and I waved, and she waved back, and then He started running at her, charging at her and she swung around and pushed with all of her might screaming "HELP"!

 Then she ran back to the balcony fence, and I yelled back at her "Are You OKAY"?

 He yelled back at me and said I AM OK and I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU AMEN,AMEN, AMEN".

 Then she did something really odd, she started beating herself on the chest. I don't know if she was trying to signal for help, like he was beating up on her or what. 

 My son, Jonathan came to the door and asked "Mama who are you talking to"? So I told him what was going on and he told me to leave them alone. We don't need to get involved and I told him, "Jon she is pregnant" and he said, "Mama we don't even know what apartment that is and if you want to call the police you can become embroiled in a domestic violence issue, and you don't need that with your health."

 A little while later I seen 3 small children. I would say about 5-10 years old and heard a lot of yelling. The kids were on the balcony and he was yelling the I love You I am Lion phrase over and over and I heard something, I am not sure what and one of the kids screamed at him to Leave Her Alone and a man came and took the kids away. I'm not sure about the toddler, I didn't see that child. 

 It still upsets me and if it happens again I am going to call the police. At least have a welfare check done. I am not a person to meddle in anyone's business but if someone is in a bad situation then I feel someone should help. I would want someone to help me if I was in that situation.

 Maybe he is in a mental health crisis, maybe he is not taking his medication. Jonathan did tell me that she can leave and for some reason doesn't. If someone comes thru the door then she could walk out the door, but maybe it is not that easy. 

 I really hope it doesn't happen again today. I really need my blood pressure to stay down, and I will continue to worry about what is happening and I really don't want to do that today!

 I gotta go. Time for my coffee. My cup is empty lol. Take care to all and stay well. BB
